An intimate summer wedding at Haddon Hall? What could be more romantic or beautiful?

I was contacted by Xianxi to ask if I was available to shoot their intimate wedding they were holding at Haddon Hall. This would be before heading over to the Maldives to have a Wedding Ceremony with their family. Haddon Hall is a venue I’ve wanted to shoot at for a while, so I was more than happy to shoot there.

Xianxi and Lufei said they were a little nervous about being in front of the camera but really wanted some nice ‘hero shots’ of their day and opted to take advantage of the free engagement shoot I offer with all of my packages.

So the first thing to do was arrange their engagement shoot. They absolutely rocked it, Xianxi even walked up Higger tor in her dress and heels! Most admiration! It was a gorgeous sunset and I was really pleased to have captured these gorgeous photos of them both.

A beautiful Summer’s day in the middle of August. Haddon Hall looks fantastic with the gardens full of beautiful flowers. Before the service, Lufei patiently waited for Xianxi to get ready. He greeted and chatted amongst their intimate wedding guests.

Following on from the mornings greetings, the guests proceeded to make their way to the service area. It’s fair to say Xianxi makes a beautiful bride, especially as she walks towards their outdoor ceremony. The guests were surrounded by pretty candles, with the sun shining brightly in the background. Haddon Hall really is a beautiful venue, particularly during summer. It has plenty of places to use for photography and is suitable for all kinds of weather, with it having a stunning garden and interior. The staff are also lovely.

After the beautiful service, we did the group shots. Haddon Hall has a plethora of steps to use for photography, you really are spoilt for choice. We decided to do their group shots on a set that was nicely positioned in the shade. Lufei and his friends were great fun and I love this shot of them ‘chilling out’ ?

After we had done their group shots, it was time to do their couple shots. Xianxi and Lufei were really keen to get plenty of couple shots and to make the most of the house as well as the weather being amazing. We started by taking a trip all around the gardens and then finished up inside the house, using the stunning interior to our advantage!
