High Peak, Tipi Wedding | Robyn & Henry
An adventurous tipi wedding in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District
I was so excited when I learned Robyn and Henry were coming all the way from Bedford to the High Peak for their August wedding. Robyn informed me during her initial enquiry that they didn’t want many staged or posed photos. This was perfect for both them and myself as I’m mostly a candid photographer. After some chatting about their big day, Robyn mentioned that their guests would definitely be partying hard in the evening. They certainly didn’t disappoint. What an amazing day!

Robyn had opted to get ready at her aunties beautiful home in the Peak District. She was surrounded by her friends and family which created a great atmosphere. Robyn’s hairdresser had come all the way up from Bedford, just to do her hair for her wedding day. Her hair looked absolutely amazing and I can see why she wanted her own hairdresser to do her hair. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining brightly and everyone was in good spirits. They got married in Chinley Chapel, in the High Peak which was a beautiful ceremony followed by an amazing tipi wedding reception, right in the heart of the Peak District. There was a nod to Robyn’s heritage with amazing Caribbean food being served and the dance floor was full all night!
