Peak District Photography
Photography by Official Peak District Photography Partner Sarah Pickering of SLP Photography.
In 2013 I took up Landscape Photography, particularly within the Peak District. I’ve always been a lover of the outdoors. Being able to combine photography and the outdoors together is where my ultimate passion lies. Whenever there is a promising sunrise or sunset I will more than likely be out with my camera. You will often find me high up on the hills or along grit stone edges, camera, tripod and filters at the ready, waiting for the perfect light.
I am an official Peak District Photography Partner for the tourist board Visit Peak District. My page can be found here. Being a Peak District Photography Partner is something I am extremely proud of. This place is my home, I grew up exploring the beautiful area so to be able to promote it is a real privilege. My favourite area of The Peak District is the Dark Peak. I love the long grit stone edges, especially at sunrise and sunset when the light glows along them. However, living within the White Peaks makes last minute dashes out when the weather is unpredictable a lot easier and it’s great to challenge my capability and push boundaries every once in a while.
